RULES OF FIGHT NIGHT

Boxers of any gender may compete.
You must be aged 18 or over to compete or be signed-off by a parent or guardian.
ALL boxers are to have a medical before and after they compete.
Bouts are contested over 3 rounds of 2 minutes with 1 minute intervals
Only pre-approved 16oz gloves may be worn. Gloves must be approved before the event.
If the boxer's gloves are not approved, we will provide approved gloves to the boxer.
Full head gear is optional, and can be provided, but are not compulsory. If one boxer opts to wear head gear, their opponent must also.
Gum Shields are compulsory
Groin protection is compulsory for males, optional for females
Chest protection is optional for females
The referee can stop the bout at any stage if, in their independent opinion, the safety of either boxer is compromised
Three standing eight counts in a round will result in referee stopping contest
You must provide your own footwear and shorts, a vest will be provided.

FIGHTER CODE OF CONDUCT 

This exclusive event is for active Total Boxer members to test their boxing skills in a competitive and respectful manner. By participating in this event you represent not only yourself but the good name and reputation of Total Boxer.

We expect you and your supporters to treat your opponent, their support and the judges with respect at all times. Actions that are likely to cause distress to anyone attending and/or harm to the reputation of Total Boxer and/or any of its’ associates will be met with ejection from the premises and may result in a club ban. 

Match-ups are determined by the organisers of Fight Night based on gender, weight, experience and ability. Fighters must not attempt to influence the match-up process. Organiser decisions are final and must be accepted by the fighter if they wish to compete.

FIGHT CAMP

New for Fight Night 02, Fight Camp is for fighters competing in Fight Night.  Beginning early February there will be two FREE 1 hour sessions every week from now until the event for EACH* corner . That's up to 10 weeks of competition-level training to ensure you are in the best possible condition for your bout.

Sunday - 11am Studio Red / 12.15pm Gym Blue
Monday - 6.15pm Studio Blue / 8.30pm Gym Red

*Fight Camps are seperated into blue and red corners to avoid training with your opponent. Your colour will be allocated to you in due course.

WEIGH-IN & PRe-FIGHT MEDICAL

The pre-fight medical and weigh-in is CRUCIAL to your final approval to fight. Failure to attend WILL result in disqualification.

ALL FIGHTERS MUST arrive by 7pm, latest.

Time: Doors 6pm. Weigh-Ins at 7pm

THE MAIN EVENT

The fight card running order will be announced closer to the event.

Time: Doors 6pm. First bout 7pm
